
On May 17th, 1972, after an evening of official reception where the Cadre Noir offered to Queen Elisabeth II of England a completely remarkable revival under the driving of the Colonel de Saint André, his chief rider, the Official Newspaper published, in conformance with the Ministry of Sports, the decree dated May 16th which created the French national riding school.
Built since 1974, in several stages of works, the school is implanted on two big grounds adding up 741,32 acres. The ground of Terrefort on which is implanted all the buildings, and ground of Verrie used for the training and in all the disciplines (show jumping, eventing, Harness) and for the races.
- The "Bouchet" and "Valat" complexes, built between 1974 and 1976 consists each of a stable of 128 boxes. They welcome horses of jumping and three-day event.
- The Decarpentry complex, delivered in 1984, includes horses specialized in the discipline of dressage
- Built between 1982 and 1986, the Prestige complex welcomes as for him the jumpers and the riding school horses participating in the presentations and the official receptions of the Cadre Noir. He includes a stable of 50 boxes, the arena of honor (70mx50m), and the big riding school of the riders.
- A stable of 40 boxes and a riding school in the Olympic standards are dedicated to the "Pole France". He welcomes the national trainers, the horses and the riders of high level in the frame of the preparation of big competitions.
