Works of research

Within the French National Riding School, studies and researches are led in various domains to improve the performance of the couple rider / horse.

The projects of researches led at the school:

Study of the interaction rider/horse

Revealing of the simultaneity of the centers of gravity of both rider and horse by dynamic and cinematic techniques.

Clarification of tools for measuring the helps of the rider.

Collaboration: ENE (French National Riding School) / Creps Poitou-Charentes / National Stud farms.

Computerization of the training notebook

This computing pad, tool of performance for numerous sports, will be informed by the rider, in association with the trainer. It aims at allowing the rider and the trainer to capitalize on the practices and the acquired knowledge. It will include information about the sessions of training and the competitions. It will concern the follow-up of the training of the rider.

Biomecanic analysis of the "sauts d'école"

The adaptation of the pad of training for the jumpers as well as the physiological follow-up allowed to estimate their energy spending to adapt their training.

Now, a biomechanic analysis will allow to help ecuyers getting better performance with a system of hight frequency camera.

Evaluation of the locomotion modification after an osteopatic manipulation

The objective of this study is to compare gaint of sport horses before and after an osteopatic  manipulation. Locomotions parameters are evaluated by dynamic and cinematic technics.
