PERSIVAL
The best known program for the office loaded with the research is the simulator « Persival ». It is already marketed and it has lead to many derived applications. This Program of Study and Research on the SIMULATION of the horse has for object to give amateurs and admirers of the horse an outfit of systems based on the most advanced measuring and simulation techniques.
Recording of looks on PERSIVAL:
Recently, thanks to an external recording system, the simulator PERSIVAL has been equipped with a new feature: the reconstruction of looks. The looks are recorded on a horse and then restored on the simulator with all their characteristics: rhythm, amplitudes of the movements, asymmetries, irregularities...
It is henceforth possible to reproduce the looks of any horse on the simulator and so to make feel to the pupils the differences of locomotion between their horses.
Visualization of the actions of the rider:
Through sensors being placed near the reins, legs and stirrups, it is henceforth possible to show the actions of the rider and to quantify them.
Creation of new gaits:
New looks created from cinematics and from recordings, allowed to improve the quality of simulation of PERSIVAL. A new jump was also set up allowing a better sensation of pushing the horse in its phase at first as well as a bigger feeling to glide during the jump.
In a time when the economy of means and the research of quality allied to a fast educational result are more and more important, the equestrian simulator holds its place as its regular use in the School shows it.
If the horse is the man's best friend, the simulator is probably the horse's best friend by contributing to protect its physical integrity and its physical level.
Tool of promotion of equitation, it allowed a wide public to discover the movement of the horse in safety before passing concretely in the reality.
Visualization with PERSIVAL: the logicial SIMPISTE
Connectables programs in simulators were developed by the school. SimPiste (Simulator for leader of Track) is the best known, it obtained the trophy any categories in the horse's lounge 1997.
Tool of conception and formation it is realized according to the orders of the international commissioners of track and the rule of the French and international competitions. At the disposal of the commissioners of track, training centers and organizing companies, it allows to elaborate the rawing of courses and to show them in three dimensions.
